How and When to Apply

An organization may apply for a donation and/or grant from the Ed & Betty Manoyan Foundation (Foundation) at any time.  As described in the Donation and Grant Review Process, formal reviews of funding requests are made on a periodic basis and actual funding may occur either at the end of the review process or deferred until later in the calendar year when the funding capabilities of the Foundation are more established.

Since the Foundation operates on a calendar year basis, a donation or grant request must be submitted each year in which the organization seeks funding.  Requests are not carried over from one calendar year to another unless the Foundation in its sole discretion decides to do so.

Requests for donations may be made with either an individualized letter to the Executive Director or as part of the organization’s broader fundraising program (e.g., form letter sent out in bulk).  It is important, however, that either type of written request contain sufficient information needed by the Foundation to make a review.  This information is described in the Applications for Donations and Grants section of this website.  NO requests sent electronically or personally delivered will be considered.  All requests for donations must be sent by mail to the Executive Director at the address shown below.
